Coming Closer to Reality
Teams of designers working on the Bay to Park Paseo are moving from design to prototype to three-dimensions. It’s exciting to see the many concepts begin to come to life.

As we inch closer to the finish line, the physical elements of our installation are in production! The UC San Diego Design Lab is focusing on the Park & Market section of the Bay to Park Paseo and we’re tackling the housing crisis as our installation theme. A serious topic, which burdens many people in the City of San Diego and the broader region.
We’re delighted to be working with United Design Group. Our sculptures are being designed and fabricated in collaboration with the UDG team. See more progress here.
